Most unwanted tattoos can be faded with minimal changes to your skin using laser treatments. Successful treatment will depend on the pigment colors and tattoo depth. Generally, darker pigments respond better to treatment. Professionally applied tattoos tend to be deeper and less responsive than amateur tattoos that are typically more superficial. Depending on your tattoo and skin, removal may require from eight to twenty treatments that are generally scheduled four to six weeks apart.
