Skin Tightening Lasers

skin tightening lasers Ulthera and ThermageThermage® CPT (Radiofrequency device)

This device is not a laser and uses radiofrequency to affect the skin. The radiofrequency acts to “damage” the skin and elicit a healing phenomenon know as “collagen remodeling.” After a Thermage® CPT treatment, the skin remodels itself, prompting new collagen growth resulting in skin that looks smoother, tighter and firmer. Thermage requires a single treatment and has little or no downtime.  Thermage treatments can be done to the face or body. EpiCentre was one of the first centers to have the newer CPT (Comfort Pulsed Technology) and the 16.0 Body tip, allowing increased patient comfort and better results.

Ultherapy – ultrasound skin sculpting by Ulthera

Ultherapy is the only skin rejuvenation procedure that uses focused ultrasound for non-invasive skin sculpting.  The ability to utilize an established technology to both see below the skin and then treat it with great precision, helps ensure both safety and a significant outcome.  With just one treatment the regenerative process is initiated, but the full effect builds over the course of the next few months.  The Ulthera procedure uses the body’s own regenerative response to gently and gradually restore memory to the skin and underlying tissue support.  The skin’s response is to stimulate the growth of new collagen resulting in a gradual tightening and lifting.  The Ultherapy procedure counteracts the effects of time and gravity on your skin. Patients have reported firmer, tighter looking skin.
